By injecting powdered Ca-Si alloy into molten steel as inoculant the free Ni nodular graphite cast steel with the addition of low Cr and Mo content has been developed. Suitable amount of fine spheroidal graphite grains were precipitated in the as-cast state of the steel. The matrix consisting of fine pearlite and excess carbide in the lump and grain states may be obtained after heat treatment. It was demonstrated that the nodular graphite cast steel get enough properties of strength and ductility

Applications:

when 60% BaSi+40%SiFe is used as inoculantand 0.2%~0.25% Cr and 0.4%~0.5% Cu are added, the tensile strength of gray cast iron is more than 250 MPa and its hardness is increased and the metallographic structure in the section of castings is more uniform.

Competitive Advantage:

We have our own production line, according to customer requirements.
